Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. This uses AI to detect objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.
The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able capture sand, small gravel and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is a good option for those who want both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option when you're willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place where cheaper robot vacuums can really fail. robot vacuum cleaner for sale Q5+'s navigation system is also superb, with only a few mishaps on walls and corners.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also features a large LCD display that is great to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the most innovative in the market however, it's costly.
The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The station's most appealing point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do everything.
If you're looking to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper and has many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile as well as high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard flooring, and mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move however.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The most important aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path. It remembers the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand, is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it has less trouble with heavy materials like cereal.
